GATE 2009 results on March 15 2009 at 10 AM

GATE results – GATE 2009 results will be announced on March 15, 2009 at 1000 hours at GATE offices of IISc/IITs. It will also be available on the websites of IISc/IITs.

With effect from last year (2008), the GATE website will provide the GATE scores to both qualified and non-qualified candidates.

Admission to post graduate programmes with MHRD and some other government scholarship/assistantship at engineering colleges/institutes in the country are open to those who qualify through GATE.

Important information on GATE Results

1. GATE 2009 results will be announced on March 15, 2009 at 10:00 hrs. at GATE offices and on the websites of IISc and seven IITs.

2. GATE 2009 score is valid for ONE YEAR ONLY from the date of announcement of the GATE 2009 results.(Earlier the results were valid for 2 years)

3. The GATE scores to both qualified and non-qualified candidates will be provided on the GATE websites.

4. The GATE results of the qualified candidates may be made available to interested organizations (educational institutions, R & D laboratories, industries, etc.) in India and abroad based on written request by the organization and on payment. Details can be obtained from GATE Chairmen of IITs/IISc.

5. The evaluation of the ORS is carried out by a computerized process using scanning machines, with utmost care.

Requests for revaluation of the answer script and re-totaling of marks will not be entertained.

As per the new scheme, a CPT passed student can register for Integrated Professional Competence Course (name of Professional Competence Course (PCC) under the new scheme is Integrated Professional Competence Course) without article registration and can sit in new IPCC exam after 9 months of registration.

MAT December 2008 Results out – AIMA website down

MAT December 2008 Results out – Beware AIMA website is an “Attack Site” – Get MAT December 2008 Results by SMS

Results for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) exams conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) is out now. The exams were held on December 7th.

The MAT results 2008 are supposed to be viewable at the following link:- MAT Results

However, at the time of writing it was not working apparently due to high demand. Also the website aima-ind.org has been reported by Google to be a “Attack Site”. We would advise caution to anyone clicking thru.

As per the AIMA website, the results are also available via SMS. Here are the details :-

National Defence Academy (NDA) I 2008 final results declared

National Defence Academy (NDA) I 2008 final results declared by UPSC

On the basis of the results of the Written Examination held by the Union Public Service Commission in April, 2008 and the interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence, 456 candidates have qualified for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of National Defence Academy for the 121st Course and Naval Academy 10+2 (Executive Branch) for the 41st Course commencing from 30th December, 2008.

There are some common candidates in the three lists for Army, Navy, Air Force and Naval Academy. The total number of such candidates in the three lists is 183. The number of vacancies as intirnated by the Government is 335 (195 for Army, 39 for Navy, 66 for Air Force and 35 for Naval Academy 10+2 (Executive Branch).

The results of Medical Examination have not been taken into account in preparing these lists. The result of Roll No. 041824, 115290 and 171429 have been withheld.

The candidature of all the candidates is provisional, subject to their submitting the requisite certificates in support of date of birth and educational qualifications etc. claimed by them, directly to the Additional Directorate General of Recruiting, Adjutant Generals branch, Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Army), West Block No.III, Wing–I, R.K.Puram, New Delhi-110066 wherever this has not already been done and NOT to UPSC.

For any further information, the candidates may contact the Facilitation Counter of the Commission near ‘C’ Gate in UPSC premises either in person or on Telephone Nos. 23385271 / 23381125 / 23098543 between 1000 hrs and 170 hrs on any working days.

UPSC declares results of IES and ISS Examination 2007

UPSC declares result of Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical

Service Examination, 2007

 The result of the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2007 held by the Union Public Service Commission has been declared. The list for the Indian Economic Service contains names of 21 candidates, including 09 belonging to the Other Backward Classes, 03 to the Scheduled Castes and 01 to the Scheduled Tribes. The Indian Statistical Service contains names of 08 candidates, including 03 belonging to the Other Backward Classes and 01 to the PH-1.

The candidatures of the Roll Nos. 0170, 1783, 2929, 3413 and 7409, are provisional.

The UPSC has a ‘Facilitation Counter’ near ‘C’ Gate of its campus. Candidates may obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/recruitment on working days between 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs. in person or over telephone Nos. 011-23385271, 011-23381125 and 011-23098543 from this counter.

The result will also be available on the UPSC website, i.e., http//www.upsc.gov.in.
