Annamalai University Directorate of Distance Education was established in 1979 offers four hundred and one different programmes of study under the Regular Stream. The Karnataka PGCET – 2009 was being conducted under the supervision of Central Post Graduate Admission Committee (CPAC) for the purpose of determining the merit of both Karnataka and Non-Karnataka Candidates for admission to the First year, First semester of full time (2 years) and part time (3 years) Master of Business Administration (MBA), full time (2 years) MBA (Infrastructure Management) and full time (3 years) Master of Computer Applications (MCA) courses and M.Tech in University Departments and institutions affiliated to the following Universities- Bangalore, Gulbarga, Karnatak, Kuvempu, Mangalore, Mysore, Tumkur, Karnataka State Women’s University and Visvesvaraya Technological University, within the State of Karnataka for the academic year 2009-2010
The PGCET 2009 results for the admission in various post graduation courses like MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech and M.Arch will be available on following websites. www.vtu.ac.in & http://pgcet.vtu.ac.in
The written test for the PGCET 2009 (MBA/MCA) were held on July 12, 2009 while ME/M.Tech/ M.Arch were held on July 5, 2009.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the Class XII (12) Board Exam Results for Chennai, Ajmer and Panchkula regions on May 20, 2009 at 10:00 Hrs. Results for Class 12 for other regions i.e., Delhi, Guwahati and Allahabad regions is scheduled to be announced on May 22, 2009 at 10:00 Hrs.
Students can get the results on their e-mail addresses by registering themselves on websites – www.results.nic.in and www.cbseresults.nic.in.
The schools can also get their entire results by registering on these websites and giving their school code and e-mail address.
Various mobile phone operators will also provide results over phone and through short message service (SMS).
This year, 637,578 students – 264,248 female candidates and 373,330 male candidates – took the class 12 board exams in the country and abroad.
