UPSC declares results of IES and ISS Examination 2007

UPSC declares result of Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical

Service Examination, 2007

 The result of the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2007 held by the Union Public Service Commission has been declared. The list for the Indian Economic Service contains names of 21 candidates, including 09 belonging to the Other Backward Classes, 03 to the Scheduled Castes and 01 to the Scheduled Tribes. The Indian Statistical Service contains names of 08 candidates, including 03 belonging to the Other Backward Classes and 01 to the PH-1.

The candidatures of the Roll Nos. 0170, 1783, 2929, 3413 and 7409, are provisional.

The UPSC has a ‘Facilitation Counter’ near ‘C’ Gate of its campus. Candidates may obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/recruitment on working days between 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs. in person or over telephone Nos. 011-23385271, 011-23381125 and 011-23098543 from this counter.

The result will also be available on the UPSC website, i.e., http//www.upsc.gov.in.

CAT 2008 Results date From : January 9, 2009

 CAT RESULTS The results of Common Admission Test CAT 2008 will be available from January 9th 2009 on the cat website: www.catiim.in. The scores can be accessed by keying in the test registration number and either the date of birth (preferred) or the CAT application number. On Jan 9, 2009 Check out http://results.catiim.in

Around 270,000 MBA aspirants appeared for the Common Aptitude Test (CAT) across India on Sunday

CAT-takers can also access their CAT-2008 scores by using SMS facility of mobile phones. For SMS, candidate can type ?CAT  test registration number  date of birth (ddmmyy)? or ?CAT  test registration number  application number? for example: ?CAT 5370082 030482? or ?CAT 5370082 123456? and SMS to ?57333?.

CAT RESULTS by E-MAIL: Candidates who wish to get their results by e-mail should register themselves between October 24, 2008 and November 30, 2008 by sending an SMS to 57333 as follows: ?CAT  registration number  date of birth (ddmmyy)  email id? Please note that only one e-mail id will be registered against a test registration number. UPSC Results Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2008 held on May 18, 2008

On the basis of the result of the  UPSC  Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2008 held on 18/05/2008, the candidates with the following Roll Numbers have qualified for admission to the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2008.

The candidature of these candidates is provisional.  In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all these candidates have to apply again in the detailed application form, which will be sent to them by the Commission, for admission to the Main Examination scheduled to be held from 17/10/2008.  In case any of these candidates do not receive a communication in this regard from the Commission by 08/09/2008, he/she should immediately contact the Commission in the matter giving his/her particulars i.e. name of the Examination, roll number, full name, date of birth, address etc.

The Union Public Service Commission have a Facilitation Centre near Examination Hall Building in its Campus.  Candidates may obtain any information /clarification regarding their examination on working days between 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM, in person or on Tel.No. 011-2338 5271, 011-23098543 or 011-23381125 from this Facilitation Centre.

Results of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2008 (MHT-CET-2008) has been declared today ( June 14 2008)

Govt. of Maharashtra had conducted a single Combined “Common Entrance Test” MHT-CET-2008 for all Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy degree courses for the academic year 2008-2009. The Entrance Test was held on Thursday, 8th May 2008.

West Bengal SSC written test Results declared

West Bengal School Service Commission WBSSC written test Results declared – Result of the Written Examination of the 8th Regional Level Selection Test held on 20.01.2008 (Sunday) for the post of Assistant Teachers in all subjects, except Work Education – The Result will be available on the Commission’s Website – www.westbengalssc.com from the afternoon of 7.6.2008 by feeding the Roll No. for 8th RLST (AT), 2007 for the post of Assistant Teachers in all subjects, except Work Education.

# Candidates can also know the result through SMS by typing WBSSC<space>Roll Number (Example: WBSSC 12345678) in the Write Message option of the Mobile and then sending it to 57333.

# Candidates can also know the result through IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System). Call and Say “RESULT” after dialing 543212222 from Airtel or 52345 from Aircel or 56731 from Vodafone or 12900 from Tata or 1255560 from BSNL.

# The Result will also be displayed in the offices of the concerned Regional School Service Commissions.

The Result of the Written Examination for the post of Assistant Teachers in Work Education in all Regional School Service Commissions could not be published till the Writ Applications having W.P. No. 24757 (W) of 2007 and W.P. No. 24723 (W) of 2007 which are pending before the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta are disposed of.

v The Call Letters for Personality Test will be despatched shortly to the successful candidates.

v The Schedule for Personality Test will be displayed in the Commission’s websitein due time.

AIEEE Results 2008 declared

Results of AIEEE 2008 (All India Engineeering Entrance Examination) held on April 27 declared on June 3, 2008

Lakhs of students from across the country on April 27th  appeared for the All India Engineering entrance examinations. The meritorious students would take admission into the prestigious National Institutes of Technology (NIT’s) and other AIEEE participating institutes .

AIEEE is conducted the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)   where candidates are ranked on all India basis 

In AIEEE 2008, A total of 105 questions, fifteen less than last year’s 120 questions, were there in the paper containing 315 marks. There was also negative marking for each incorrect answer. Total marks last year was 360.Check out AIEEE Solutions & Answer Keys

IIT Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2008 Results on May 30

IIT JEE Results for 2008 exam will be announced  on May 30

Results of IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE 2008) held on April 13, 2008 (Sunday)  will be declared on May 30, 2008

This year 320,000 students appeared for IIT-JEE, compared to 250,000 last year. It is expected that by 2012-2013, about 600,000-700,000 students will appear for IIT-JEE, maintaining 2-3% selection ratio.
