West Bengal School Service Commission WBSSC written test Results declared - Result of the Written Examination of the 8th Regional Level Selection Test held on 20.01.2008 (Sunday) for the post of Assistant Teachers in all subjects, except Work Education - The Result will be available on the Commission’s Website - www.westbengalssc.com from the afternoon of 7.6.2008 by feeding the Roll No. for 8th RLST (AT), 2007 for the post of Assistant Teachers in all subjects, except Work Education.
# Candidates can also know the result through SMS by typing WBSSC<space>Roll Number (Example: WBSSC 12345678) in the Write Message option of the Mobile and then sending it to 57333.
# Candidates can also know the result through IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System). Call and Say “RESULT” after dialing 543212222 from Airtel or 52345 from Aircel or 56731 from Vodafone or 12900 from Tata or 1255560 from BSNL.
# The Result will also be displayed in the offices of the concerned Regional School Service Commissions.
The Result of the Written Examination for the post of Assistant Teachers in Work Education in all Regional School Service Commissions could not be published till the Writ Applications having W.P. No. 24757 (W) of 2007 and W.P. No. 24723 (W) of 2007 which are pending before the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta are disposed of.
v The Call Letters for Personality Test will be despatched shortly to the successful candidates.
v The Schedule for Personality Test will be displayed in the Commission’s websitein due time.
IIT JEE Results for 2008 exam will be announced on May 30
Results of IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE 2008) held on April 13, 2008 (Sunday) will be declared on May 30, 2008
This year 320,000 students appeared for IIT-JEE, compared to 250,000 last year. It is expected that by 2012-2013, about 600,000-700,000 students will appear for IIT-JEE, maintaining 2-3% selection ratio.

“CLAT 2008 RESULTS Announced ” Check out the CLAT 2008 Rank List
CLAT 2008 Results and merit list was announced today (on May 20), as informed earlier by Prof A Jayagovind Vice Chancellor, NLSIU and Convener CLAT 2008. The result was to be announced on May 17, 2008 but due to some technical ploblems, CLAT Result announcement got delayed.
There will be no cut-off and every candidate will be ranked based on the admission test evaluation.
The ten law schools that require mandate CLAT scores are the National Law School of India University, Bangalore; Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala; Chanakya National Law University, Patna; Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow; Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar; Hidayatulaah National Law University, Raipur; National Law University, Jodhpur; National University of Juridical Sciences, Bangalore; National Law Institute University, Bhopal and National Academy of Legal Studies and Research, Hyderabad.
The CLAT 2008 results will be available on the websites of all the NLUs.
About 12000 candidates appeared for CLAT (Common Law Admission Test 2008) in 20 centres and were up for grabs for the 1,200 seats in the ten National Law University (NLU). The CLAT is the only way of entry to the LLB five years integrated course being run by NLUs in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Raipur, Jodhpur, Lucknow, Patiala, Gandhinagar, Patna and Kolkata.
Result of National Entrance Screening Test 2008 (NEST 2008) for Admission to 5 year M.Sc. (Integrated) Programme at NISER, Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CBS Mumbai will be declared on 17th May/ 20th May 2008.
While the NISER site (www.iopb.res.in/niser/) gives the NEST 2008 Result date as May 17th, 2008, The site Tata Institute of Fundamental Research - www.tifr.res.in/~nest/ (where the result has to be published says “ The names of all candidates called for NEST interview for CBS or NISER (at Mumbai and/or Bhubhanewsar as the case may be) will be put up on www.tifr.res.in/~nest/ on 20 May 2008 and the percentile score of all the students by roll number will be put on the web site on 30 May 2008.”

This Directorate has been set up by the Punjab Government vide its Notification No. 10/6/2002-3E.7/7825, dated 1.4.2003 to implement the Education Policies of the Government regarding Elementary Education fully. Prior to it, a separate Directorate of Primary Education was established by the State Government since February 1978. The main object of the Primary Education Directorate was to ensure to provide free and compulsory Education to the children of age group 6 to 11 years under the compulsory “Primary Education Act, 1960″. In the year 2003, this Directorate has been upgraded upto the level of Elementary Education thereby changing its nomenclature to “Director Public Instruction (Elementary Education), Punjab (DPIEE)“. Every revenue village of the state is having a Government Primary school.
