Results of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) 2009 for professional courses will be declared as per the schedule on May 25, without waiting for the announcement of CBSE class 12 exam results.

Students who wrote CBSE class 12 exams this year are yet to get their results, even one month after the exams getting over. According to CBSE regional office in Chennai, results are expected in June first week. However, in Karnataka the results of CET for professional courses are scheduled to be announced on May 25.

As now the results of 12th standard CBSE and ICSE exam results are out , the Karnataka KEA will announce the results on May 24, 2008.

Results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for professional courses are being announced tomorrow.

The results to be announced at 11 am at the KEA office will be made available to the students in the afternoon through website at 12 noon, said Pre-University Education Commissioner S.G. Hegde.

The results will be announced at all the 218 centres at 1 pm.

Earlier results were scheduled for announcement on May 14 itself. The same was postponed due to delay in the announcement of CBSE and ICSE results, he said.

The candidates residing out of Bangalore can dial 9580-1255255; candidates of inter-State can dial 080-1255225 and avail their results.

Karnataka CET Results on SMS

The BSNL users can get their results through SMS by typing the numbers specified for the first two letters in the number of the hall ticket and type the further number and send it to 55352.

For example if the hall ticket number of the candidate is AZ 654, the candidate should type 01 26 654 and send. (For A” 01 and for ‘Z’ 26 is specified).
