UPSC Declares Result of Combined Medical Services Examination, 2008

UPSC has declared the result of Combined Medical Services Examination, 2008. The successful candidates have been recommended for appointment to medical posts in the Railways, Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service, Central Government Health Service and Municipal Corporation of Delhi. The Combined Medical Services Examination, 2008 held by the Union Public Service Commission on 03.02.2008 and Personality Test held from 13.10.2008 to 15.11.2008. A total number of 556 candidates recommended for appointment include 253 General Candidates (including 12 Physically Handicapped candidates), 169 candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (including 05 Physically Handicapped candidates), 89 Scheduled Caste (including 02 Physically Handicapped candidates), and 45 Scheduled Tribe candidates.

Appointments to the various posts will be made according to the number of vacancies available, and subject to the candidates fulfilling all the prescribed eligibility conditions.

In accordance with Rule 13 & 14 of the Rules of the Combined Medical Services Exam., 2008, the Commission is maintaining a consolidated Reserve List of 118 candidates which includes 59 General, 56 Other Backward Classes and 03 Scheduled Caste candidates.

U.P.S.C. has a “Facilitation Counter” near Examination Hall Building of its campus. Candidates can obtain any information/clarification regarding their result on working days between 1000 hours to 1700 hours in person or over telephone Nos. 23381125/23385271/23098543 from this Counter. Result will also be available on the U.P.S.C Website i.e. www.upsc.gov.in. However, marks on the website will be available after 15 days from the date of declaration of results.

National Defence Academy (NDA) I 2008 final results declared by UPSC

On the basis of the results of the Written Examination held by the Union Public Service Commission in April, 2008 and the interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence, 456 candidates have qualified for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of National Defence Academy for the 121st Course and Naval Academy 10+2 (Executive Branch) for the 41st Course commencing from 30th December, 2008.

There are some common candidates in the three lists for Army, Navy, Air Force and Naval Academy. The total number of such candidates in the three lists is 183. The number of vacancies as intirnated by the Government is 335 (195 for Army, 39 for Navy, 66 for Air Force and 35 for Naval Academy 10+2 (Executive Branch).

The results of Medical Examination have not been taken into account in preparing these lists. The result of Roll No. 041824, 115290 and 171429 have been withheld.

The candidature of all the candidates is provisional, subject to their submitting the requisite certificates in support of date of birth and educational qualifications etc. claimed by them, directly to the Additional Directorate General of Recruiting, Adjutant Generals branch, Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Army), West Block No.III, Wing–I, R.K.Puram, New Delhi-110066 wherever this has not already been done and NOT to UPSC.

UPSC declares result of Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical

Service Examination, 2007

 The result of the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2007 held by the Union Public Service Commission has been declared. The list for the Indian Economic Service contains names of 21 candidates, including 09 belonging to the Other Backward Classes, 03 to the Scheduled Castes and 01 to the Scheduled Tribes. The Indian Statistical Service contains names of 08 candidates, including 03 belonging to the Other Backward Classes and 01 to the PH-1.

The candidatures of the Roll Nos. 0170, 1783, 2929, 3413 and 7409, are provisional.

The UPSC has a ‘Facilitation Counter’ near ‘C’ Gate of its campus. Candidates may obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/recruitment on working days between 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs. in person or over telephone Nos. 011-23385271, 011-23381125 and 011-23098543 from this counter.

The result will also be available on the UPSC website, i.e., http//www.upsc.gov.in.

On the basis of the result of the  UPSC  Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2008 held on 18/05/2008, the candidates with the following Roll Numbers have qualified for admission to the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2008.

The candidature of these candidates is provisional.  In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all these candidates have to apply again in the detailed application form, which will be sent to them by the Commission, for admission to the Main Examination scheduled to be held from 17/10/2008.  In case any of these candidates do not receive a communication in this regard from the Commission by 08/09/2008, he/she should immediately contact the Commission in the matter giving his/her particulars i.e. name of the Examination, roll number, full name, date of birth, address etc.

The Union Public Service Commission have a Facilitation Centre near Examination Hall Building in its Campus.  Candidates may obtain any information /clarification regarding their examination on working days between 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM, in person or on Tel.No. 011-2338 5271, 011-23098543 or 011-23381125 from this Facilitation Centre.
